Camogli beaches: complete guide to pebbles and coves

8 June 2026 · 3 min read

All the beaches of Camogli: the central beach, Punta Chiappa, San Fruttuoso and the secret coves of the Promontory.

Camogli's beaches are dark gravel, with deep, transparent waters typical of the Paradiso gulf. Here are the best, from the village beach to coves reachable only by sea.

The central Camogli beach

About 800 m long, alternating free stretches with historic lidos like Bagni Lido. Convenient for families thanks to facilities and bars steps from the seafront.

Punta Chiappa: the connoisseurs' cove

Reachable by ferry from Camogli (10 minutes) or on foot from San Rocco (1h), it's a platform of black rocks dropping into crystal sea. No sand, but clear waters ideal for snorkelling.

San Fruttuoso and the Marine Protected Area coves

San Fruttuoso bay, with the abbey mirrored on the sea, is an iconic view. The side coves offer seabeds rich in life and exceptional visibility.
