What to do in Courmayeur in winter without skiing: snowshoes, sledging, Pré-Saint-Didier spa, Skyway and Christmas markets.
No skiing? In Courmayeur in winter there's still plenty to do: snowshoeing, sledding, spa, Skyway above the clouds and shopping in the pedestrian centre.
Snowshoes and sled
Several groomed snowshoe trails start from the centre or the side valleys. Sledding on the dedicated Plan Chécrouit run is an adrenaline experience also suited to children.
Spa and Skyway
The Pré-Saint-Didier baths in winter are a sight (see dedicated article). The Skyway in winter climbs above the thermal inversion with deep blue skies.
Shopping and gourmet restaurants
Via Roma offers high-end boutiques and typical products. For lunch or dinner, gourmet restaurants, historic trattorias and mountain huts reachable also by snowmobile.
