Monte Anchetta (745 m) overlooks Zoagli village and offers one of the widest views of the Tigullio: from Portofino to Sestri Levante at a glance.
The trail
Start from Zoagli centre following CAI signs to Sant'Ambrogio, then climb between olive terraces and Mediterranean wood. Elevation 700 m, 2h30 uphill.
What to see along the way
Midway, the small Sant'Andrea di Foggia church is worth a stop. At the top, a panoramic cross with orientation tables and meadows ideal for a picnic.
Tips
In summer leave early to avoid the heat. Hiking shoes, water and a hat: final sections are exposed to the sun.
